change "leaving that group right as their career is taking off" to "leaving when her contract expired" and I don't see anything wrong with it. she didn't backstab anyone, she negotiated her end.
now she's free. she's doing what's best for herself without breaking the rules. that's not selfish.

If they want her to renew her contract then they should have accepted her negotiation.
If not, that's fine, but she's out once her contract ended.

You're seeing one side only, dude. And the fact that you're interpreting so many things in a bad sense like for example: asking for a hiatus as SHE GAVE THEM AN ULTIMATUM and also releasing a song as THE OTHER'S OBVIOUSLY WERE RESPECTING THE GROUP'S DYNAMIC AND CAMILA ONLY CARED ABOUT HERSELF... like 
At this point, the only thing we can do is assume, but if you were OT5, as I thought you were, you'd try to see both perspectives more instead of only assuming the worst in Camila.
