Don't you think as a fan yourself you find it a little strange and cringewrorthy to hear music critics, not stans but music critics, use words like Queen as a synonym for her? It feels like pandering.
Don't Hurt Yourself and 6 Inch are the only songs on Lemonade that are truly worthy of praise. The rest of the album has good songs but not good enough for the magnitude of praise the album is getting.
You would think with Lemonade topping all these year-end lists, it would be an album full of Don't Hurt Yourselfs but it's an album with filler like Sandcastles, Forward, Pray You Catch Me, and lyrical content like "suck on my balls" and "I slay x6"

And that's only a small percentage of reviews. Trying to frame that as the norm is very disingenuous.
I don't even have a problem with Beyoncé being on them because it's obvious she would be but the fact that albums like TLOP are anywhere near the top 20... these critics are useless and are no more credible than most users on her

It's a pop album (meaning it features all those elements that you mentioned) that does work beyond the charts. I didn't hear these complaints with Carly Rae praise and that had "gimme love" x6 and "I really (x5) like you".
Sorry is definitely terrible except for the outro which is pretty good. Doesn't salvage the song tho.
