If you reduce human beings to "curry," "rice," "spice," "chocolate," etc., then the only person who's trash is you.  Talk about having absolutely no decorum. I don't have any issues with preferences, but I don't derogatorily label people, especially ones I don't know.

some might think i'm trash but its just a time-saver. like i said, i couldnt care less about what people on an app or a site like this think about me. sorry

If you respond, then you care. I'd even go as far as to say that people around you probably think you're vile if it's easily distinguishable on an app or website. A simple, "Only looking for [insert types of guys]," is better than calling people you don't want to meet "rice" or some other derogatory word.

I think it's pretty dumb to cover up what is clearly underlying racial biases under the guise of preference, but if you wanna say 'whites only' in your profile feel free. If you're saying No curry, No Rice, No Chocolate etc. then you're trash and if you don't see a problem with dehumanising people based on their skin colour by comparing them to foods you are also trash.

I agree with everything you said except for the part in bold.
People have preferences but some of these "preferences" are just blurred racism/prejudice tbh.

I get having preferences, but for me it's a bit much to say you'd *never* date or hook up with somebody that wasn't your type on first glance.
The phrases are messy though. Just because you're not attracted to a certain group of people it doesn't give you the right to dehumanise them.
