Also, comparing her to mainstream acts is kinda pointless because she doesn't send her songs to radio, doesn't perform on TV, no promotion whatsoever.
She is an indie artist, BTD was successful because it was something new and fresh when it was released. I don't know why people expect her to sell so much lol. She still has a solid tumblr'd fan base who can secure her 100k-ish first week sales I think, which is good.
And she was such a good visual artist and now looks like an old unfit maiden at your local pub for alcoholics.
