Yeah that makes sense. The thing is though that clearly some of the others thought it was quite good, so even in that way I think you did quite good this round, even getting a 10, so it's still quite a success. But now that you know that you hopefully know where to go. Thinking about it now it probably got a bit lost for me in being all kind of extra, I think maybe if you tried a slightly less is more approach you could iron that out this round (I'm not saying don't try to create good concepts and just be really dumbed down and simple but with the details being a little less striking as in that song I think your problem would be solved)

Makes sense; I wanted to ask you both (@Stupid) something that ceremonials said about my song which I would've changed had I more time but did you think the Outro was completely different to the rest of the song and was jarring?

OMG bitch yes, a bit. if the song didn't have that and was something more stripped down like just about her escaping or looking for safety through your grass imagery it probably would've slayed me, but that father daughter plot line, particularly whatever that was in the outro, just messed everything for me

I wanted the verses and choruses to be about how the little girl runs into the garden with child-like imagination of jungles (even when running from abuse) and wanted to highlight how , in her perspective, the grass was really big and then the next verse and chorus was about how the abusive father stomped through the garden. Then the outro was meant to be how the girl was found by her dad who, even though sees her daughter crying and bruised, brings her back to the house and the final line is meant to infer that he continues to do it and she'll continue to seek refuge in the garden.

I don't think pears is lying, especially since knowing I got 2 9.5s it would make sense for me to have gotten a 6.5 and 7.5. But I wouldn't even care about your score if your review was valid, which it wasn't. When you review like 40 songs it makes sense to miss some things in a few songs, so I get that at least. It's the past though
