Because it's from a new Christmas album that was released in october + they did a show on national tv (NBC) just 3 days ago + Christmas is really close + it's a really good cover.


Hallelujah is usually not a song associated with Christmas, they're the first to re-appropriate the song and turn it into a Christmas song.
