The Curious Case of Mariah Carey’s Beyoncé Selfie

On this week’s episode of In the Limelight, Josh and Julie talk Mariah and Beyoncé’s selfie, the state of J.Law’s hair, and Justin Bieber’s yellow hoodie.

Did anyone else notice something, er, amiss with Mariah Carey’s recent selfie with Beyoncé? The disparity in flattering lighting? The seemingly heavy Photoshopping around Mariah’s side?

Here's the thing. I really appreciate the fact that she doesn't try to look hip or trendy on the red carpet, she does her own thing, always has. It's really like she's putting on a costume, instead of a pretty dress. That's what makes her Beyoncé. So recently she's been into the southern belle aesthetic (which I LOVE), it suits her. She shouldn't stop now, but I would love to see her wearing something other than a sheer dress.

But knowing her she'll probably wear something like this but floor length lol (Rodarte s/s 2017)

I loooove the southern gothic theme from this era; I just wish she wouldn't repeat some of the same silhouettes so often and I wish she'd do some more of the braid looks for her televised appearances. They're so, sooo gorgeous at her concerts and in her visuals.
