Sen. Mike Lee of Utah will reintroduce a bill next year to protect people and corporations that hold a religious objection to same-sex marriage, a spokesman for his office told BuzzFeed News, adding that the political climate amid Donald Trump’s presidency will give the legislation a better shot at advancing than it had the past two years.

“Hopefully November’s results will give us the momentum we need to get this done next year,” said Lee’s spokesman, Conn Carroll. Trump vowed during the campaign to sign the First Amendment Defense Act, arguing it would “protect the deeply held religious beliefs of Catholics and the beliefs of Americans of all faiths.”

Carroll added, “We do plan to reintroduce FADA next Congress and we welcome Trump’s positive words about the bill.” The measure was filed in both the House and Senate in 2015, but only got a hearing in the House. The bill faltered amid protests from Democrats and speculation that President Obama would veto the measure if it reached his desk.

Last year’s version of the bill had 172 sponsors in the House and 37 in the Senate.

They say only against same-sex marriage, but they want to refuse service to anyone who's gay or they think is gay. It's happened before. They could also use it on anyone they don't like so watch out divorcees/single ladies. It's too broad so I hope it backfires when the Satanists say the bill allows them to do what they want.

Yes, the Clinton Foundation raising money to provide medical care in third world countries is exactly the same as a billionaire who has never shown philanthropic interest in his life and his only major donations were to Republican politicians. Totally the same.

An oil CEO as SoS might just be the most stereotypical thing ever. There's nothing against the status quo about it but keep on reaching with T-Rex arms to justify his cabinet positions so far that are by no means anti-establishment.
Trump has advocated time and time again during his campaign for stealing the oil in other countries so how is this oil CEO not gonna be serving his company's interests as SoS while serving a POTUS whose policies benefit that company?
As for the Clinton Foundarion, we don't know for sure if there was pay for play (we've seen emails leaked and not a single one is direct quid pro quo) and even if it were it's like the most harmless pay for play there is. As opposed to stealing other countries' oil for multi billion American companies.

I never believed Hillary would put any interest ahead of the country because she herself is smart and knows that the country would've followed her every move.
