Now that you can "see" your musicians more often, looks definitely plays into favorability of an act. I had a fried who loved Sia's voice back in the early days of Wild Ones w/ Flo Rida. He thought she sounded like a young hot girl. Then, I showed him a picture of Sia and he instantly discarded the song and really any infatuation/love he had for Sia and her voice. nn
So imagine, a few years later, how funny it was to me when Sia started obscuring her face. Someone probably told her there were a lot of people, like my friend, who weren't listening to her cause she wasn't attractive.
It's kind of sad, but the American public are shallow. Else Kim K wouldn't be so big.
