I didn't log in yesterday, but i read on another forum that Republic Records confirmed the song wasn't going to be available on any free streaming platform. This better not include Vevo / Youtube because...
the song is part of an OST, there is no way they are going to lose those streaming coins, Taylor has no word in this.

I've read that Beyoncé's Crazy In Love remix from the last one wasn't available on Spotify until much later, so maybe they don't mind? I can't see them accepting the song not being on Youtube though, it's like the biggest promotional platform the movie can get

This is true. Beyonce withheld her song until the very last minute
She'd be a streaming force if only she used her potential. I can't wait to see her back on Spotify. Let's hope it includes her old albums and is not some weird deal.
Taylor's songs are always the most played songs on soundtracks. Highway Don't Care is also Tim McGraw's most played song.
It's not a lead single, just put it on Spotify and YT.
Edit: Beyonce should be the best example for her that she won't get any huge hits anymore if she continues to pay dust to Spotify.
Beyoncé doesn't get huge chart hits anymore because she pays dust to Youtube / Vevo too and radio is not playing her as much either, not because of Spotify or lack thereof!

Even if she had those things, she wouldn't get a #1 in 2016 without Spotify. Her Spotify streams are great, so it's dumb to not put Lemonade on it. However, the difference is that Beyonce probably doesn't care about hits whereas Taylor does.
Does anybody use Maddie & Tae? If you guys like Kelsea, you should check them out! I can't tell if they're indie country or mainstreamish country but they're good.

Most likely not, but being #1 or not is irrelevant to having huge hits. No Doubt's "Don't Speak" never charted because of chart technicalities and it's one of the biggest hits ever!
You learn my secrets and figure out why I'm guarded
You say we'll never make my parents' mistakes
Do you remember, we were sitting there, by the water?
You put your arm around me for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine
Do you remember all the city lights on the water?
You saw me start to believe for the first time
You said, "I remember how we felt, sitting by the water
And every time I look at you, it's like the first time"
