Jive has become a MESS of a label, They just came off one of their worst years last year And theyre already off to rocky start again because theyre still not pushing this enough

(+ 0.086) on mediabase is NOT good for a brand new Ciara single.
I'm really not trying to be annoying, but Ciara really needs to release a song w/ Lady Gaga or Rihanna to build back up her name (because thats asking for success for the song) and then release a solo single.

She released a song with Justin Timberlake last year that flopped,
so having a high-profile artist in her song won't help her that much this time around either.

And I'm pretty sure the song Ride
doesn't even have an adds date yet Wait until that happens to panic about an update like that.

The song would also be climbing on iTunes had we not been flooded with 10+ popular new releases this week. Those pushed it back a lot.

Overall, we need to wait a couple more weeks to see if this is truly
flopping. Radio will pick up & so should iTunes.

The reason about Jive not doing enough is that The video is everywhere And sitting on it or waiting too long to start promoting or performing isnt gonna help. . . It would be PERFECT to capitalize on all the hype now But lately Jive in general [Not just Ciara] has been a mess when it comes to properly handling artists and I just hope this isnt another repeat. .

"Ride" has the potential to be a HIT,

My problem is the video got GREAT feedback, the song hit #41 on iTunes & the video #1, but they haven't even sent it to radio yet.

Why would they release it to iTunes & not send it to radio for 2 weeks.

& the video has been out 3 weeks so what's the problem.

& especially coming off of a bad era, they should be PUSHING this.

(& no I'm not throwin' shade)

It's only been two weeks though...can we give the song some time to grow at radio first?

Jive has promoted actually, Ciara has too... and it's doing better than both first singles from "Fantasy Ride" with less momentum and a quarter of the airplay.

I mean was it even on the iTunes home page??

I just look at it like this.

It's probably goin' to take her 3 weeks to take off.

It's gonna fall to like low 80s next week because of decreasing sales & low airplay gain.

Then the week after,it'll pick up because of adds & sales will start to increase. She'll probably hit like low 70s that week.

Then the week after that it'll start climbing at a good pace.

She could've been like top 50 next week if they had sent it for adds 2 weeks ago.

Yeah. . This is just becoming frustrating because They are still dropping the ball but there is still time so it can still all come together
