Yes, she is objectively speaking the best vocalist of this Century even, but Adele still slays her own thing and has a fantastic tone. Adele's best asset is that she has a very commercial taste and has the ear to make vocal arrangements that appeal to masses. Yes, her music is formulaic, but it's a very good formula and can be tweaked in many ways.

it's mostly jealousy and reaching to infinity and beyond ( in my bud light year voice) to try and discredit Adele. Adele is everything they want beyonce to be success wise. Beyonce is suppose to be the biggest artist in the world but Adele mere presence trumps that narrative.
