For example. New Romantics still couldnt crack Top 40 even after being released on Apple Music with around 50mil AI and Top 10 on digital sales.
I was like, is Apple Music not relevant, or it was not counted for charts (because they only think Spotify and YouTube is more popular service?)

New Romantics did nothing on Apple Music, but it counts. There are like a dozen streaming services that count for the Hot 100. Youtube and Spotify are by far the biggest though.

But you can make huge numbers on Apple Music. Views did 245 million first week streams while being Apple Music exclusive.
IDWLF is certainly doing a lot better than New Romantics did there, but won't get big numbers.


No idea about charts in other countries, but would think it counts in most.

Apple Music didn't count at the beginning for the spanish charts but now it does, so maybe it's the same for other countries
