This logic makes a cover the same as a demo though.

A demo is in progress, it's open to change before its finalized and stamped.

Like if I was writing a recipe with someone and someone else conceived entire recipe and I changed the raisins for chocolate chips, published it, it's done. That's our recipe.

If I took Martha Stewarts published recipe for oatmeal cookies and added chocolate chips and called it "Martha Stewart's Oatmeal Cookies Recipe that I created" it wouldn't make sense.

No she doesn't she gets credits for performing arrangements which is an aspect of the song. When she writes a bridge, verse,etc. She gets her credit even though she didn't fully write the song she still is apart of making of the song.

Taylor wrote 1 song by herself on her last album. How is that not writing as much as she did before? This is math.

I'm saying when Beyoncé does write, its way better than Taylor's lyricism. Beyoncé could do it by herself. Technically anyone can. Taylor did.

1) No one actually cares about who writes the music in the real world
2) It's really one of the few things haters can latch onto and they HAVE
3) There are more legends who have not written music for themselves than those that have. Like come on.

...Exactly my point. Songwriting credits are supposed to be for people involved with the composition. Not vocal arrangements. Vocal arrangements are simply going off of an already written song.

And just an FYI, posting stuff like the second sentence in your post (some unwarranted, random, unrelated and untrue shade) completely take away being able to take you seriously.

Kelly and Ryan wrote Already Gone before Halo was written. Kelly's album took a while, Halo was written and released before Already Gone came out, and Kelly was pissed that Ryan recycled a VERY similar track without her knowledge.

Every song an artists sings on an album that they can purchase you can get credit. Singing, writing, producing ur fav gets credit.

But yeah, I don't think she wrote that much of it. Which is kind of odd in my opinion. I get that the album is personal, but it just feels like... you're not fooling anyone. This is still a product that has been manufactured for the masses.

I know it's dressed up as something differently, but Beyonce is still just a pop girl. She is not the next Ghandi, although some in here try to make it seem so. She's not the next Bob Dylan either, which is why I won't do too much on her for probably not writing more than 20% of the album.

And that's really all there is to it.

the thing with Taylor is she's the driving force behind her songs. she's there at the beginning stages of the process all the way to the end. you don't even know what Beyonce writes so how can you say get lyrics are better? so if Beyonce could write songs on her own, why hasn't she? technically anyone can? you think it's easy to make a song with no help whatsoever? that's why you stay deluded.
