I think bey fans tend to live vicariously through her more than other fanbases.
That's a terrible assessment.
More realistically, they're overprotective of her cause she doesn't respond to controversy. So things like what Kanye said about awards is perpetuated when it goes unchecked cause people like to see celebrities fall.
