Formation is THAT song. When I think of future Bey tours and festivals I can't imagine her show not being opened with Formation. It's my go to song from the Album as well. The beginning gets me hyped every damn time.

It would be nice for her to get Record of the year but even nicer if she got Album of the Year. It's almost poetic that she is going up against Adele, who tied her 6 awards in one night. The Grammys knew what they were doing nominating them both for all 3 categories. An iconic showdown tbh. Before Adele had even released anything they said she had this Grammys on lock. It's only fitting that Bey can be the one to stop ha.

As for Performances, I hope she performs forward/sandcastles at some point for another event in order to complete the album. I think All Night is her only option. She can serve vocals, and if she wins big, All night along with Formation will prove to be great Album sellers following the Grammys.

It's the most acclaimed pop album of the year, the most acclaimed female album of the year, the highest selling female album of the year, its at the top of countless year end album and song lists, it had a MASSIVE tour attached to it... but somehow it doesn't deserve the nominations.

Also is Lemonade her best album name? I love it so much. It's so punchy, direct yet poetic without being pretentious. It's easily understood but still has power. The sour sweetness of lemonade is a great analogy for the message too.

They're so mad, they're so so mad, it's incredible. Beyoncé has proven you can have the most acclaimed modern album by a black woman, the most acclaimed album by any woman in the last 12 years, etc. etc. etc. and yet because she's black, or because she didn't write the entire album in her ***** blood in cave by herself, it's somehow not deserving of the praise it's received, that it's in anyway comprable to run of the mill pop releases. She can create an album that cohesively spans multiple genres, curating an incredible meaningful and culturally rooted project, yet dance pop or club songs by airheaded puppets who can barely sing live and have no agency over their own projects are superior, just because Billboard tells these bottoms it charted higher. A number means more to them than cultural impact and respect, it's ****ing hilarious.
