Wottice? Grammys wyd? Well sometimes talent loses. At least everybody got 25 and Lemonade right. I did not think there was a chance in HELL for this happening with David Bowie's posthumous album and a Radiohead album in play; especially considering how they've handled nominations for the last few years. WOW.
ROTY should go to Formation hands down and I doubt it'd go any other way.
SOTY could be Hello or Formation but I'd put money on Hello.
BNA should be Chance but will probably go to the Chainsmokers
AOTY is tricky af per usual:
25 was massive but everyone noticed it wasn't as good as 21 and winning back to back is rare - but she's Adele so most rules don't apply to her,
Lemonade has been leading the nomination talk since it's release but so did ST. But she could see some urban voters go to Drake and she could also lose some votes because the first half, and the part of her album she promoted the most was explicit.
Drake & Bieber have about the same shot, with Drake slightly above Bieber because rap fans will show up for him since they rarely get a nod let alone win.
Idk that last person but they could really be the dark horse here and win like Beck did in 2015.
Even with that said I don't think we should underestimate the commercial influence this award has (1989) and count out Bieber or Drake (and Adele to a lesser extent since 25 also has acclaim).
