I don't think he's totally alone. I appreciate Lemonade's cultural significance, but I think Beyonce's self-titled album is the best thing she ever released. None of the songs on Lemonade stood out to be with the exception of Formation.
Oh I'm definitely sure he's not alone. But the vast majority stand on the other side when it comes to their opinions on this album. If you don't "get" it, or don't appreciate it for what it is, that's fine. But going round calling it a "bad album" and "overrated" just because your opinion is in the minority, is a bit childish and unnecessary. Say you don't like it and then move on. That's it.

Kinda shocked they snubbed Bowie and Radiohead from AOTY & instead they nominated that random country album (feels like such a forced nom) and Purpose and Views

But the main noms are pretty bad. I'm rooting for Adele and Beyonce.. Views was one of the most mediocre album of the year and has no business being near a Grammy award every year they become a bigger joke i was rooting for Kendrick last year
Congrats to Kelly for her nomination! Also, very shocked to see Sturgill nominated for AOTY but I don't mind his album is easily one of my favorites from this year.

He wasn't calling it a bad album or overrated because he was in the minority. He was saying those things because that's how he feels about the album. Also, calling someone's opinion (that differs from yours) childish and unnecessary is, in and of itself, childish and unnecessary.
