Whenever you use "20 years", it implies DC.

Again, Beyonce and DC are two separate acts. Whitney and Mariah are one act each. It makes more sense to look at her solo career since it's being compared it to two solo artists.

That said, I will say that all hats are off to Bey for only getting bigger with time. Most artists reach their peak within their first ten years and Bey has managed to turn that on its head. That's huge in the youth-obsessed and increasingly short attention-span age we live in now.
