Beyonce SHOULD have more relevance in this generation than they do, seeing as how she's a part of it. That is completely different to overall CULTURAL relevance, where they surpass her by far.

Sorry, I've been laughing for 4 hours str8, but anyway my answer is no. Touring stats seems to be your only defense since Mariah (idk about Whitney) never had a major tour until Charmbracelet. Her sales equivalent don't match up to theirs so there's no need to blame it on the sales climate. Adele is out here doing Whitney and Mariah numbers while Beyonce can't even sell 1/12th of 25's sales. Whitney and Mariah are eating good at the table while Beyonce is fighting for scraps on the floor with Brtiney and that's that

LOL at you thinking a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction is the sole indicator of impact or influence when you have TONS of influential artists still not in the Hall. Is there a reason though that Mariah hasn't had a tour like the Formation Tour? Hell even, a Verizon First Ladies Tour? Celine and Madonna were/are huge touring forces and Whitney did well with touring so what about Mariah? Everyone seems to be afraid to answer this. Adele is the most commercially successful artist of all time and is a once in a lifetime artist. Just because she did the impossible doesn't negate the OBVIOUS declining sales market.
