That's what I felt like doing while making the graphics, so am glad other people have started doing it.
And I totally would replay them if I had any time between college, work, this, Chanal's slave race and just getting Sun.

I'm glad she dropped, but she is the best part of her line, so... Well, until icon Gallade was introduced. She's very cute and shy and personified a little but not too much that it would be creepy. Don't get me wrong, she is absolutely worthless and unusable outside of design but that's forgivable since she is a basic first stage, unlike her equally worthless evolution...
And she's the emotion pokémon, so stan for Carly Rae.
Phresh calls her "frail and sickly like wally", and I wish. Maybe then she would pass away gracefully and not evolve into... that.

The fact that Ralts couldn't even learn an attacking move until level 6 really bothered me during my Sapphire/emerald plays

I think they were trying for an Abra parallel, but the good thing about Abra is how it evolves into Kadabra, who has incredible stats that rival a fully evolved.
When Ralts evolves it stays useless.

Welp, we had Wario's fish and now we have Mario after grabbing the new blubber power-up. Slay the thick stache daddy. As far as middle stages go, I think the stache gives him enough identity to keep him in this far, as we know that middle stages are generally early outs. I used her more than Walrein, cus just like Lairon I couldn't be bothered training her that much.
This is also the first appearance of an ice-type pokémon! Slay a bit. Messy how all the ice-types in Hoenn were cordoned off in that one cave... Trump wall teas.
Phresh says that "filler not needed" but concedes she is "still kinda cute". If it was a full-beard he might have even boosted his score to a 4.
