It's a song that wasn't available for streaming. Not on spotify, not on apple music and unlisted on youtube. So to say it only spent one week in the top 10 when actually reaching the top 10 is an amazing feat in itself given the circumstances is very redundant.

The fact that the Beyhive are so damn mad over Bey being snubbed on a DJ Earworm track. This guy has been doing these mixes for NINE YEARS now. It's a well known fact that he uses the biggest hits of the year for them. Formation, Sorry and Hold Up had nowhere near the success that the songs that did make the list had.

Formation wasn't a #1 hit, but it had the social impact and felt like a solid top 3 hit, if not #1. It's just because it wasn't on itunes the day of release, if it was it would of went top 3, probably #1.

I would say it is definitely big enough to be in the smash hits of 2016 playlist
