Honestly, it might be my least favorite tour of hers. Even including Virgin and Who's That Girl. I just couldn't get into it at all.

you need to watch it in full! I think it's my third favourite of her tours this millennium (after Confessions and RH), though I get why it might not appeal to others.

I love Drowned World Tour. For me it's so artistically brilliant. From being away from the stage for 8 years releasing 3 albums, the Evita soundtrack, Something To Remember compilation and a few other soundtrack songs for her to incorporate songs from all of these in a new way is amazing.

Ray of Light and Music were two perfect albums to follow one another they fit so well on stage. I also liked she couldn't just take the era aesthetic and present it onstage aside from the typical guitar section which is the only real moment that feels 'Music-era' (Geisha-Anime is ironic since Nothing Really Matters isn't even performed) so they had to create new segments to fit them all together.

(Madonna invited everyone from Idris Elba to Diplo to Katy Perry onstage during her tour; word is that Perry makes an appearance in the doc.)

From an artistic point of view,it's definitely one her best!
The second segment is my favorite and it completely takes your breath away. Frozen alone is mind blowing !
Lo que Siente La Mujer is so simple, yet so effective !
Music is the perfect finale !
An amazing show all in all.

It's her third best tour, IMO, after the Girlie Show and Confessions.

Very heavy on 'Ray of Light' and 'Music', and I think the only 'Immaculate Collection'-era tracks on the regular setlist were "La Isla Bonita" and "Holiday". So I guess it depends on what you think of that.

Some of the costumes are kinda tragic, but the visuals overall are often stunning. Especially the "geisha" segment.

Drowned World is a winner, one of her most dramatic and visually arresting tours. And if you like 94-00 material, you'll love the show, even if Madonna looks a little dehydrated.

I disagree about Drowned World Tour. I respect its creativity but the show was too dark and way too slow in parts. Right when she would speed things up, she would kill the mood with another slow song. I saw the show 3 times and the audience was confused and bored at all of them.
