It was actually refreshingly upfront and sincere. Probably one of the more accessible works of "art" in modern music. It featured an easy to follow theme of redemption and played on the common motif of turning "lemons into lemonade". Every scene is literally prefaced with the emotion it's portraying.

She probably just wanted to play with the vocals on it. But it's so good no one cares.
