No, Formation will be nominated and is almost guaranteed to win. Bey is one of these artists that can snatch with whatever they submit in their genre category (i mean, she pretty much rules RnB nowadays). Don't forget that a POP song like Single Ladies won two RnB awards in 2010

Billboard literally posted an article after the remix was released saying that it would have been one of the fastest selling singles of the year due to the massive hype of a Beyoncé/Nicki collab, so yes it could have gone #1 and you're wrong again
