I won't say Katy can't sing because I at least seen "some" (and I said some) good live vocal performance from her especially when she sing the acoustic version of The One That Got Away. Britney is another story because some the live vocals I did hear from her were always bad.
You're correct when you said none of them won't made it through the Voice audition but I believe they will at least ask Katy to come back to give another try.
