I read recently that the longest Madonna took to record an album was 4 months, and that was for Ray of Light (which was released 4 years after BS) which she made during/after a massive movie project and the birth of her first child. Like wtf has Katy been doing besides cover girl **** to warrant this wait.

I remember playing California Gurls and Teenage Dream on repeat back when they were the only two songs released from the record at that stage and I loved California Gurls SO much more and was a little bit disappointed with Teenage Dream but listened to it enough I forced myself to like it. 13 year old me, his taste >>
Also, now y'all can't use the "b-b-but it's nawt on her VEVO page!!11" excuse when trying to justify TD's tragic views (not that that was ever a good excuse given Hot N Cold and California Gurls' amazing views, but alas).

This, but I am trying to defend it. It's a throwback song, it's supposed to have that old school vibe, lol. It's an amazing song and so are most of the songs on Teenage Dream.
I know y'all like to fight here over CG vs TD vs LFN but the truth is that they're all excellent and 11/10.
