I never had a GameCube and Nintendo hates it so I'll never get to play it
Still looking on eBay
Considering the VC of all their other consoles is up and running I'm hoping GCN emulation comes to the Switch. There's a lot of great games I missed out on on that system and it's hard to find working ones for a reasonable price, then you have to fight with composite cables in HD TVs and memory cards etc.
I just wanna get the Nintendo 3DS so I can play Super Mario Maker but I don't wanna pay $150+ for it...
The Super Mario edition for $99 is so cute but it's sold out EVERYWHERE I go. I went to Walmart, Target, and Gamestop but they are all sold out.
I'm going to go to Best Buy and another Target after dinner, and hopefully there's one left.

It keeps coming back in stock at Amazon and Walmart.

Tell me about it.
I thought it'd come to Wii U but it never did. I did read somewhere that we won't get GC VC because of the GameCube games working differently with the controller or something with the sensitivity of the shoulder buttons being something that only worked on the GameCube controller. I can't remember now though.

Christ Nintendo just release a separate 'pro' controller with the same configuration then, there's a lot of people that would lap it up I'm sure. Didn't they release a limited edition Smash Bros. GCN controller or something?
It's been 10 years since the GameCube was discontinued, bring it Nintendo. We're ready.
It came back in stock at Walmart. I hope you got one.
I've been refreshing Walmart every 2 minutes since 6:30 and it never went back in stock.
There's one on Amazon resale for $102 with free shipping and everything, but it's from France and said it could not arrive until January. I don't know if I should stay hopeful that it will return for Cyber Monday or just cave and do it...

The 3DS is region locked. Make sure you're not buying a European one if you're from the US
I still haven't gotten Moon. Maybe I should just wait for Stars? I dunno.
I wanted to get some games on black friday but I just ended up buying gifts for other people
Started playing Wind Waker again yesterday. I ****ing HATE the Triforce quest UGHHH it is such a pain. I just need like 3 more pieces I think, maybe I will finish it in a few weeks lol.
The cartridges are completely different so probably not. Maybe via download?
The architecture of the system takes after Wii U much more than it does 3DS, so Wii U game downloads are more likely if we're talking about current gen backwards compatibility. But it seems like they're trying to distance themselves from both of those systems as much as they can with the Switch.
