I'm not a movie genius at all, but I'm pretty sure it's standard for post-production (or the period between filming and release) to take literally an entire year. So, working backwards, a Sept 2018 release means it'll probably be mostly filmed by this coming September - so now is certainly the time to be getting through a good chunk of the soundtrack.
Also, woah at Joanne making NME's list! I think she'll be on quite a few this year. I believe the
'Million Reasons' performance also got nods as the best (if not one of the best) performances at the AMAs by both Rolling Stone and Billboard. I think I saw some style magazine or blog or something name her best dressed too. We totally underestimate her casual acclaim
It has been holding up pretty well. 
I can't believe she's gearing up for the biggest night of her career.
