Julianne was better in Still Alice than Rosamund in Gone girl although she was fantastic as well.
It's just that Still Alice was a lackluster adaptation so Julianne had to carry the movie much more than Roasmund since the adaptation of Gone Girl was nearly perfect.
no legacy, not more than one global hit etc
