I'm not even upset about Hillary. That's the problem with democrats, we think too much of the candidate. I'm upset that now the GOP has almost full control of every swing and red state out there. They can do anything and they're dangerous.

I don't think so. They've already been in the white house. It'll just be a blow to Hillary's ego, that's all. It's not as bad as never seeing the white house ever.

Well I don't expect it to change the outcome but I'm hoping at least one state flips. Add to that all the electors that won't be voting for Trump and his monumental loss of the popular vote, and we can keep him in check for the next 4 years. His win will be sort of like an Americanized coup d'etat.

As a progressive who voted bernie and didn't support hillary (would have voted for her if my state or any of the downballot options i had stood any chance of going red), I doubt progressives will be as big a factor as you think. A pretty significant portion of them have basically turned on Bernie and especially Warren for supporting Hillary, just like they're beginning to cannibalize Keith Ellison for one issue they don't agree with, so I unfortunately think it will be another losing strategy to try and shape a party platform around such petulant and unreliable voters. The party should always pay attention to them if they happen to get mobilized by a candidate like Bernie, but I doubt we'll have a candidate like that for another few election cycles tbh.

The PRESIDENCY was the end game for her OK ! she has always looked at that position as the end game and she lost it in a shocking way . I am forever going to be SAD, she deserved it .I will never forgive the FBI, wikileaks and the media.

This is what has me worried. If democrats had some control in Congress, state legislatures, etc so they could keep republicans in check, I wouldn't be as worried.

Winning the popular vote but still losing the Presidency just rubs more salt into the wound. It's like being cheated out of it. I mean if you lost by 10 points and expected to lose you could just get on with your life. But when you expect victory and then have a shocking loss, that would be traumatic. She'll always be thinking, what if I spent one more day in Michigan and Penn etc. What if I had done x instead of y

Devos was all the confirmation I needed to tell that it's ultimately Pence calling the shots. Trump/Children been trying the more racist/xenophobic appointments (i.e. Bannon).
