Don't worry, I feel ya. I noticed it really how much "in the way" it was watching her do John Wayne at the dive bar tour. She starts out with the guitar and it feels..not convincing, the song I mean, like it just doesn't lift off and distant. When she put the guitar away and she was free and could just throw that energy into the song and audience which is when it really picked up and people started to get excited. She does not have that with the piano, it sucks you in where as with the guitar it actually becomes a barrier.

Her sitting down with the guitar made the performance look kinda basic and not as memorable as it could've been.

If she just stood up and sang the song without the guitar (and with a better outfit/look), that performance would've been way more iconic tbh.

Still a great performance but I really hope she doesn't play the guitar at the Super Bowl

I liked the performance, I really did, it was cute and visually pleasing and intimate. I think she did well sitting down in that decor. I was even thinking I'd ****ing live if she'd have Asia and Koji running around next to her
But for now it seems Gaga is the kid in training wheels coming to a BMX race and it's just...cute but not there yet.

Perfect. If she really can get the guitar down, I'd love for her to use it more. But if we get something like MR@AMAs, then I'd rather her ditch it because it feels disingenuous. She needs more lessons.

An acoustic performance like that should not have a studio-quality identical guitar backing. Just like it shouldn't (and didn't) have studio vocals in the background as well. But it was still a cute performance

ot: Stage was amazing, yeas, but she should've done more than just sit on that damn stool. Maybe she should've been laying in grass at the start, then ditching guitar after first chorus and start doing ~emotional movements, kneeling or smth...

She should've taken some notes from Eurovision how to make ballad performance stand out, that stars backround could've been changed a but for the finale, with some shooting star or pyro for that extra punch. + better camera angles.
Ehh it's just that everything felt cheap, but so did all the other performances tho, I guess thats just how they do it over there
