This is all fine and understandable, but her career hasn't been constant hustle since 2012. She's taken plenty of time to write and record this album. She should be expected to promote it to sell it - if she was anything like she used to be, she would want to do this.
It's fine if she doesn't want to, whatever, but it just makes me lose interest as a fan, and I'm sure others feel the same way.
Tbh I don't even disagree the slow burn has been painful and frustrating but the "work ethic is gone" thing was a tad much.
This album has so many healing, and uplifting properties.
Especially during these sad times for some of us, I feel 10x better after listening to this album.
I will be on the Gaga train again if she does disco next tbh. Nile Rodgers, Daft Punk, even Moroder. I think she can pull that sound off much better than this.

I hate when people try to criticize something and don't even get the time period references/influences right.
CTM is "70s" and "Bowie"?
It's 50s and 60s doo wop.
My goodness.
I said ''70s Bowie'' as in the Bowie who was making glam/art rock in the 70s.
A lot of reviews have been saying that the song is 50s and 60s inspired (which I think isn't false btw!) but let's not forget why Gaga exists in the first place. It's way more glam through and through.
CTM, especially its ending, has early 70s glam rock era David Bowie written ALL over it. There.

At this point she needs to continue to promote performing both MR and A-Yo in the next months.
Release the music video of MR between December (if we are lucky) or early January at this point, and then A-Yo video after the Superbowl.
'Hey Girl' music video in April.

They send Hey Girl to radio (instead of MR) in my country and it was completely panned by the public
If she waits until January to release MR music video
According to Mindtrappa is not even planned yet
But even if he's wrong and she is going to film it this week, it will be out in the middle-late December, so we can totally stay prepared for a January release
Unless she filmed it in velocity before she went to Japan but I don't think so.
