General classes make me pray for some sort of reform in the US education system. It's such filler and a waste of time, but I understand why they do it. Poor all of us having to basically suffer thru an album full of filler just to find some good tracks that'll #change our lives supposedly.

there's a lot to choose from for general education classes so i'm kinda of excited to take both even though i will probably struggle with psychology even though everyone tells me it's easy

the real issue is that I have to also take two semesters of Spanish, and i have to take a lab science course

i was going to take Marine Biology next semester, but the class filled up, so i just didn't take any science class

So @y'all college students, my parents want me to go to community college for the first two years to get my required/core classes out of the way without having to pay a huge amount (that's one of the main reasons). After that's done with, I can transfer out to do my last two years (pre-med is the plan). Is it worth it, or is starting off at a four-year college better?

I mean, I wasn't going to take MB class but it's something I've always been fascinated with and considered majoring in a few years ago. But then again I don't really like biology, I just like marine animals and that's it!

Depends on where you going I guess. You should probably make sure wherever you plan to do would be accepted by the transfer.

If you don't mind living at home and going to a community college I say go for it, some people adjust to college life better then others, but it's up to you

I would go this route. I think it's the best tbh. I wish I went this route but my ego got in my way. If I knew what I knew now and had the social awareness at that time, I would've done it.

this is pretty much me, one of my good friends is a Marine Biology major, and i was like "i get to learn about seals and dolphins, how hard could it be?" and they were like "it's water an bacteria and a lot of chemistry, not just animals " soooo ya idk what to take
