I'm sure this was directed at another poster since I'd never say such a thing.
that said, work smart not hard is the motto to long term success
But agreed. Hardworking Americans exist on both sides
Endorsed doesn't mean he endorsed them.
A media manipulation out of context tea...
My goodness
Work smart, not hard. I like that
I was gonna read Tim's 4-Hour Week book, but I've got so many other amazing books to read.
Like I said, I love hard working people.
Work for that American dream, and you'll be a part of America's 1%. Capitalism is for all.
Honestly guys, I've done a lot of independent research over the last few days and Trump is a Democrat. So w/e.
He's not politically correct. That's a given.
But illegal immigration is an issue. Maybe it doesn't need such a harsh remedy (watch him walk his plan back), but it does need some ordering. Same with terrorism. His rhetoric on this is, again, inflammatory, but the merit is that we should take precautions when importing Muslim immigrants into the country. "Extreme vetting" is just bad policy, but the suggestion is warranted given 9/11, Paris attacks, and the volatile state of the Middle East.
Basically, more moderate versions of the things he's proposing aren't bad ideas. But Trump is a showman and he knows extreme views get attention.

Trump is going to take away gay marriage........from YOU
And you WANTED that

I'm not sure how tax cuts (rivaling Reagan's era) make him a democrat, nor does the plan to take down Obamacare and privatize Healthcare. I can see the immigration, terrorism, etc. as extreme versions of Dems policies but what about everything else he proposed?
and because of you voting third party and splitting up her vote, we got trump.
Yes blame me. not the 46.1% of people that didn't vote because Hillary because, duh.
don't blame the celebs and the obamas pushing support in Hillary's favor but not realizing their transparency would work against Hillary
Don't blame the media for manipulation, setting up the majority to feed falsehoods because theywanted to believe they (media) still has power, influence and impact.
Don't blame the media for using oversample results in inaccurate polls to appease the audience instead of telling them the hard truth because, integrity...because, credibility...because, fact finding...
Yes, denial deflection deception...
Whatever coping mechanisms (that are non violent and not personal attacks)...I'll accept
Also, I just learned of a gay friend who voted for Trump.
He's beautiful, but goddamn is he an idiot. Which isn't surprising though, cause he probably sees himself as a masc straight guy. He dated women for like the first 2 years of college before coming out the 3rd year. I'd definitely say there's some self-hate.
But he's a hot, white guy who probably doesn't experience discrimination in the same way as most gays.

We already take precautions on immigration. Come on, don't legitimize his garbage. It was nothing more than fearmongering.
btw, Paul Ryan now has carte blanche to make every single piece of dream GOP legislation into law. So what Trump believes doesn't really matter.

But just in April he said he's all for raising taxes on the rich. "Myself included".
His words.
Like. I get that he's an idiot and it's likely that he won't stick to his Democratic principles in order to appease his cabinet, VP, and congress, but Trump alone is not this hard shelled conservative that he's pretending to be.
I think actually keeping an open dialogue with him will help keep him from drowning in the sea of red he's surrounded himself in. Cause it appears he knew he couldn't win on a Democratic ticket (given his demeanor), so he took it from the Republicans, but the consequence of that is that he's now being subjected to influence from that side.

His words mean nothing.
Quote:
Trump’s tax plan would cut income tax rates while capping deductions for the wealthy. He would also reduce the business tax rate to 15 percent and eliminate the estate tax. Workers at every income level would enjoy lower taxes under Trump’s plan, but the biggest beneficiaries by far are the very wealthy. Estimates from the Tax Policy Center and the Tax Foundation estimate that the top 1 percent of income households would see their after-tax incomes rise by 10.2 to 13 percent under Trump’s plan, while “middle income” households -- those from the 40th to the 60th percentile -- would see an increase of 1.3 to 1.8 percent. Tax savings at all levels could be higher from economic growth, but the wealthy still see the biggest bump.
She said: "I never want to be, I am not prepared to be, a politician that maintains a diplomatic silence in the face of attitudes of racism, sexism, misogyny or intolerance of any kind.
"I hope that president-elect Trump turns out to be a president very different to the kind of candidate he was and reaches out to those who felt vilified by his campaign.
"But people of progressive opinion the world over, I think, do have to stand up for the values of tolerance and respect for diversity and difference."
Ms Sturgeon added that she wanted to "engage positively and constructively with the American administration", but would "never shy away from standing up for these important principles".

As a refugee of the Rwandan Genocide, I can confirm the US let it some people who participated in the atrocities. Names and stories circulate around in the refugee communities and can be verified by matching opinions on the conflict with confirmed dates, times, locations.
Having experienced this first hand, I'm not naive enough to believe that people don't slip through the cracks.

I heard that one before. That never worked out the way they say.
But I really can't subscribe to this "democratic Trump" idea. Seems like a cop-out way to look at him. From what I seen most of his proposed ideas are a mix at best.
