It's worrisome that so many feel entitled to always get what they want... that's not how life works and never will be.

What entitlement? Basic respect and decency from the law is an entitlement? You people are a ****ing trip.

The protests already have Trump whining. Whew these next four years are gonna be fun.

I know. I'm middle class and my taxes will be raised while the wealthier get cuts. I live in Utah, where our air is the worse air out of the country due to our urban centers being surrounded by mountains. If CO2 emissions rapidly increase, it will no longer be safe to go outside in the winter.

lmfao at people were talking about the struggles. I could say the same thing for minorities, especially immigrants who have to go through the struggles, mentally and financially.

Girl I needed to take off work because of the election results. Speak for yourself for not needing therapy/uplifting for an election that will SHAPE OUR VERY FUTURE. Yall (not you but general) are so against people taking time to themselves and finding their own ways to come to terms. Yesterday my campus put up a big blackboard that students were encouraged to write and uplift themselves with. People gathered and it was all chill UNTIL a couple religion Trump supporters came in and literally insulted black people and the LGBT community there. Some folks got the memo and called the people there crybabies and questioned the need for having such an event. Thankfully nothing too bad happened since the religious nuts were outnumbered and gave up against the peaceful gathering of students and they continued their peaceful uplifting. I don't know why folks want everyone to be like "Oh X won, I guess I'll deal." Not everybody are built the same, some folks need to have these uplifting events, need to have a day or an hour off, need to have therapy (Especially folks who might actually be threatened by the policies of Trump's adminstration. And some folks need to express that Trump isn't their president. Healing and/or dealing doesn't exist without it.
Riots are bad and a inevitably sad part of major protest events thank to people always getting too emotional or taking advantage of the civil unrest.

I WAS NOT coddled, pacified when Kerry lost. I still had to take my exams and be an adult in college and accept the facts.
|
Sucks for you. But don't pretend that a majority of students across the US are being coddled.

But Clinton did this to herself and the media did this to you all.
the sooner we all move forward and unite for the betterment of America...the better things will be

But no I'm not uniting behind the racist rhetoric that dominated Trump's campaign and Pence's anti-gay, ultra-conservative agenda. You can **** off with that. I'll accept that Trump is president, but like hell I'm going to be all peachy and cream and high fiving some of the same people that voted for Trump.

If teenagers would just open up their eyes, and not be persuaded by SJWs, and not ask for free handouts and free Gender Studies/Journalism/Art and Liberal degrees from the government, then maybe you can all learn a thing or two about "hard work", "perseverance", and "maturing" from Queen SLW8.
But nope, everything is still about Social Justice, when that's not even the real problem America is facing.
Spend a summer or two on summer camp, and toughen up. Not this Pokemon Go you call recreation in the park.

5. Trump won I am floored. WW3 cancelled, order and peace restored. Protesters will always exists. And if Trump loses, there will be protests from the Republican side as well. So it goes both sides.
6. Hillary has always had my respect, even though I am a Trump supporter. Bernie the communist is the real enemy. I have been consistent since Day 1 that I am okay with either Trump or Hillary because my ideologies matches with Hillary and Trump.
7. Gheys, I know you're all scared but please be assured that Trump is okay! You're all 18-23, so you're still cute and naive , thus it's understandable to feel scared because right now social justice is most important to you.
But as you grow older and find yourself into adulthood, you're going to finish college and get a degree ( For the LOVE of God please NEVER study useless liberal and arts degrees, and gender studies.), hopefully find a six-figure job, and start paying taxes. Then your eyes will be opened and see the realities of the world that we are facing now, and you're going to understand the real reasons why people voted for who they voted for. If you remember, Randall was the MOST iconic apprentice and he was a smart, intelligent black man, and Trump even PRAISED the first transgender apprentice for her work and effort - I forgot her name, but yeah she was iconic!
8. It's a proven fact that the cycle persists. Younger people tend to be more liberal, but as they grow older, they become more and more conservative - because they start settling down, to raise families and instill good values of kindness and also hard work to their children. So I would bet $1000 that in the next 10 years, you guys will be very conservative, so this notion of "old people must die so there will be no more conservatives" is a bust. Shame on Zara for saying that.
And the children that we all give birth too will be the new breed of SJWs to test the republic and rebel against all that come against their beliefs. And thus, the cycle continues, and will always continue.

Oh my god, this is so condescending. Literally read in the voice of every 55 year old white guy working as a low level government employee.

Is it bad that I genuinely think we've lost the whole lowering emissions thing?
Like it's just not going to happen quick enough now to stop the temperature rising.
I'm not so sure we shouldn't be spending the money in preparing the worst hit areas.

Hillary won the popular vote because more people across the entire United States voted for her.

We're speaking in general. Our government has always disrespected a certain group of people in some form or another. Yes it is life changing, disrespectful, and traumatic for some to have trade deals sign that guarantee that hundreds of thousands will lose their great paying jobs. And this is the generation of giving trophies to losers. This generation does not know how to deal with loss, and it is very concerning as it shows weakness like we've never seen.

Thanks
Am i being condescending or am I debating with a different POV.
Now I would say if anyone feels that way, just let me know and I can apologize individually but I don't make attacks on people I just debate strongly based on my experience.
Also, I don't get the whole let's baby teenagers who have no problem being rude and disrespectful to their "elders" just because they don't agree.
Debate without personal attacks. that's all.
that said, DON"T delete your post (you thought i was going to warn you, huh?)
You said it and made yourself look a certain way.
stand by it. I respect that more than a tweet then delete deal

Why do so many cons assume that every person voting for Dems did so for social reasons?
Like why is it beyond the realm of possibility for you people that some would prefer higher taxes, higher welfare, higher public spending? Do I think the U.S. Dems are a great example of that at the moment, not really, but a lot of people genuinely don't like the idea of limited government and that has nothing to do with SJWs (which is a whole other ******** argument but whatever).

Sorry, I don't need the WP. It's ATRL, it's not that serious.

The same reason why Democrats think every Trump supporter is racist, bigot, and xenophobic. That's mutual. I love you sis.
And no. Lower taxes is good. Capitalism is not just for the 1%. It is for everyone.

The **** at people saying hard work. One of my conservative best friends can vouch for me being one of the hardest workers she knows. I go to school full time while working 30 hours. I have a pretty good paying job too in the government for a student. That "liberals are lazy" stereotype is so tired.
What I want is for people to have the same opportunity as me. And if you define that as lazy liberal then ok.

It's the white working class who lost their jobs who don't know how to deal with loss. Instead of working to reintegrate in the new economy they clung to a lie that their factory jobs were coming back and elected a white nationalist who incites violence in the process.
Make no mistake, the people out here protesting Trump's win are a hell of a lot more reasonable than them.

Yeah see this is where we fundamentally disagree. Unfettered capitalism increases inequality.
