Trump lost the popular vote. He's one of the rare presidents that will take office with a majority of Americans voting against him. And even with the house and senate both being republican, they won't do anything too drastic the first four years because they will want to appeal to a lot of people for reelection. I wouldn't expect Roe vs. Wade, Gay Marriage, mass deportations, or a "wall" during this time.
If somehow we can get a democratic majority in the house or senate in 2018, then we shouldn't have to worry about much for the rest of Trump's time as president.

I think this is the silver lining really. now that congress and trump both know that he actually LOST the popular vote I think they will chill with touching the big social issues like roe v wade, obergefell v hodges, lawrence v texas, etc
we just gotta pull through 2017 and hope that turnout for the demos are better in 2018.
