I agree. Nevada held back the redwave while Arizona was closer than anyone thought, even when it's said to have a dip in turnout: In 2012, a total of 2,323,579 Arizonans cast ballots, for a turnout of 74 percent. In 2008, voter turnout was 78 percent, with 2,320,851 ballots cast. In 2000 and 2004, turnout exceeded 70 percent.
The number of registered voters was the highest ever, with 3,588,466 statewide, an increase of over half a million compared to 2008.
So AZ could be a bright spot if they get enough people energized.
