Bernie was performing well with the white working-class voters, which is what made Trump win. There's evidence that the DNC rigged it for Hillary. Bernie didn't have the scandals or baggage, he was likable and trustworthy, etc. I'm not gonna say he would've won BUT he wouldn't have lost the Blue Wall. Hillary just wasn't a strong candidate despite all of her experience
