Trump being elected President isn't even the worst thing to come out of last night. The fact that the GOP literally has all the power, they control the house, senate and presidency is so scary.

They asically lost because millions of angry white people who NEVER voted before came out of nowhere similar to brexit. Like how were they supposed to know that would happen? EVERY poll got it wrong.
Because the election was essentially a referendum on Obama, since Hillary stumped on continuing Obama's policies. So many people were bringing up Bill whenever Trump's sexist BS leaked, as if he was the one running. Van Jones said it last night, this was a "White-lash" and an immigration lash, and a LGBT lash.

Because a majority of their "signature legislation" is going to be reversed...it is tarnished, no other way to look at it.
After Brexit, HRC's team should of modified her message...instead her campaign didn't evolve, and didn't do a good job reading voter sentiment.

I agree with all of this but to say Obama is a joke? He can stop right there. Obama was a great president and helped the US get out of a near depression.
This is crazy. I watched CBSN last night and he had a big lead on her from the very beginning... Watching I was like, "he is actually winning? Trump is actually winning??" Guess his YouTube video about "quiet majority" was right..

Her team is tone deaf, and utterly clueless...she should of been up in those states campaigning like gangbusters. Kellyanne Conway saw the tide turning, why not John Podesta?
I completely agree, it's mind boggling how blind they were to everything. I would love to have some sort of biopic made about her campaign because the internal communications and operations were so far off point it's laughable. Slaughtered on North Carolina, Ohio, Iowa ... it's unforgivable.
I'm just putting this out there. I don't think the title of this thread is appropriate. I don't know many people who are happy with the results, but at the end of the day, we all need to be supportive of the country we live in. The best thing we can do is to hope that Trump makes the right decisions moving forward and we can continue to prosper.
Forums are meant to be neutral places where people can have healthy conversation. Having moderators model blatant bias is inappropriate IMO.
Let's not even talk about Evangelicals. 80% of them voted for him. Wow so much for their religious values.
Catholics, Christians, etc, are against abortion, lgbt rights, and things like that, which Hillary supported. So I'm not surprised a huge amount of religious people voted for Trump. My family voted for him even tho they dislike him, but they "couldn't cope with the thought of someone pro-abortion running the country"
