OK so I've been waiting to say this for about 10 hours now cause I didn't want to be clocked if the voting has changed as it progressed. And I am sure it has been repeated many times, but this is all Democratic voters' fault. They had a candidate who could actually wipe the floor with Donald Trump but they were so focused on making "herstory", they forgot to face the facts
And one of the few arguments against him was "he couldn't get votes from minorities" and it was just plain stupid, we saw it. Maybe he wouldn't have reached the heights Hillary did (%80+ with African Americans
) but he wouldn't be this low with white voters either and he was old so after his first term she could have run with his support and his platform. So many things could've been done differently but the Democrats failed to see it.
Don't get me wrong I am sad because Trump won but it was avoidable from the start, and I hope from the bottom of my heart, women, POC, LGBTQ+ and other minorities and advanced people don't get harmed by the things that is probably gonna happen after he is in White House. And I hope by midterm elections the Democrats do something to at least be the majority in Senate and prevent further damnation.
Is having some semblance of common sense supposed to exonerate them for this?
