As someone living in Venezuela, this is EXACTLY what happened when Chavez won in 1999.
He started making bold, insane, crazy, boisterous claims, throwing insults left and right and giving a voice to people who have felt resentment towards the democratic rulership for years and created a divide in our people that to this day has become pure HATRED towards one another.
I really PRAY if he becomes your president you don't make the same mistakes, don't hate Trump supporters, walk along them in the same path in peace because once you reach the point we have with Maduro, there is NO turning back. Our country is done for decades. And will be if Maduro leaves today anyways.
