I think 7 is the best #, but I can't think of a group I stan for that has 7 members (well, I stan 4 ikon, and like GFriend and INFINITE but idk)
there's certain charm in a big group from the big-3 however, unless we're talking YG and his FLOP attempt with iKON since the company cannot handle / have no experience with a big group and the songs end up B.I & Bobby (feat. Junhoe)
I really like 5 (which makes sense seeing as how my favourite groups are 5) but really anything between 4-7 is pretty good. The larger groups definitely become cases where I forget some of the members and it must be hard to split all the lines between them.
I know all the girls, cause I love them individually but yes it's sad
Starship had such a flawless set of trainees, and they should've been in two separate groups, most of the girls will remain irrelevant and unknown despite their big potential
WJSN case still has me bitter, I literally like every single member and that's rare for me in big groups
yeah the fact that you could perfectly make 2 groups out of it
again, i dont know much about them aside of their music, but i highly doubt they are all NEEDED in the group to make it work.
i am assuming most of the time the same girls get all the lines and camera time
