This is breaking, but something in Durham County has gone wrong this morning. This is the bluest county in the state and the computers don’t seem to be working properly. A lot of folks being turned away from the polling locations this morning in Durham. They’ve gone to pen and paper check-in only.

i remember in 2008...they called it at 8pm PT/11- ET on MSNBC....as soon as California polls closed...they immediately made the announcement.

i dont remember in 2012...i didnt follow that one as closely...i went to sleep early in the afternoon & then when I woke up later that night...it was already called

Everyone is writing such nice things about King O. History will be kind to him.

I teared up a little, watching President Obama leave, knowing how hard he worked, against so many odds, just to maintain hope — let alone make change. I will miss him — his reassuring, textured voice; his ability to stand calmly in the *******s of disdain thrown at him for the last 8 years and respond only with wise words and a disarming confidence; his understated impact on history. He was a good president. If Congress had let him, he would have been a great president. In any case, he was a great man.

Such a good, kind man.
