Also, if any fellow New Jerseyians are in here, vote Yes on Ballot Question 2.
Republicans are lying and saying vote No would reverse the gas tax hike, but that's literally already become part of law (it's... so weird how little people understand what is law, how taxes/the economy works).
Kim Guadagno is only against it now because Christie is for it (along with the state Dems because there's now all this new funding that has to go somewhere) and she wants to ensure her bid for our 2017 race.;
We have to pay more in tax for gas. That's the reality of it.
But Dems in NJ got tax credits for poor families up and getting sales tax down as a trade-off.
Yes = All 23 cents from the tax has to go to fixing roads, transportation infrastructure
No = 10 Cents goes to the TTF and Trenton now has the other 13 cents to do as they wish with it
Do what you want on Q1. I'm voting No since casinos ruined Atlantic City as it is & we don't need more.
Nnn to not sound so preachy, I hope everyone in the thread read their full sample ballots and know what is asked of them. And vote for everything! Vote for your sheriffs, your freeholders, your council heads, and even your school boards - make a difference where you can.
