^As a learner/non-native speaker I tend to only hear the letter as "L" but not as hard as an English "L" (if that makes sense)

I held off on listening to the first Loona girl song until the rate to get my second listen opinion and yeah, I don't like it
there's no clear distinction but you can know when it's more of an R than an L and vice versa as you learn. There's definitely a slight tongue roll involved tho so it is really a mix of both.

I definitely agree with the tongue roll thing. I've just taken to mumbling my way through it at this point in time.
The sound switching (like b/p g/k) that tends to happen is/is gonna be my biggest obstacle I think
(at least when it comes to listening)

Still missing a little something to truly make me obsessed though. So far only Whistle has gripped me in that sense. I can't do Stay at all though, I despise the harmonica
