It'll be a bit bittersweet if Clinton doesn't win the Senate. Not having the House will be hard enough, but considering the level of partisanship in Congress today, it'll be REALLY bad. Clinton's platform has moved significantly to the left, and the Republicans will just not touch any of it.

Then of course the Republicans will somehow dominate the midterms in two years

I'd love to see New Hanover go blue; Wilmington a nice city. The Beach areas outside of Wilmington are what's making that county red.

Most of the mountains and Western Piedmont are rural and overwhelmingly white. In that region, I'd love to see Hillary get Watauga and Jackson in addition to Buncombe
