A Moon Shaped Pool - dropped 81% second week
Lemonade is the only one with a better drop; and that's partly because it's first week was not a week, it was under 3 days. If she had a full first week, and a full second week she'd probably have had a 60-70% drop. Her second week was 7 days of activity versus 3 days the week before.

A 60-70% drop is a normal SPS drop with hits; while 70-80% is a normal SPS drop for an album with no hits.
The #1 album before Joanne dropped 77% second week (Kings of Leon), the #1 before that dropped 78% second week (Green Day).

So you're saying PI and MR aren't hits? Interesting.
Just coz the other artists had tragic drops too doesn't make 68% good. Lemonade is the only one with a good drop in that list.
#11 for Tove, not bad. Not great but not bad either.

You resorting to discreting the entire pannel of the biggest debuts of the year, just so you could make Joanne look bad. The OGH have really ran out of ammo this time
And not Rih stans coming in here and acting all sassy about her drop in pure album sales, when ANTI, with two hits, has yet to outsell Cheek to Cheek in pure sales. . Wasn't it all about streaming these days, folks? Double standards, again
Amazing numbers, no matter how you look at them. Let's hope Billboard will push them even more again this time

Apparently streaming only counts when they're talking about their own fave.

That's exactly what he is saying, cuz they aren't.
MR is shaping up to be one, but it's not even at 5M AI on radio yet And Perfect Illusion underperformed severely and wasn't promoted anywhere, it wasn't performed on TV even once. Of course it's not a hit

I agree that a 68% is just ok. Not bad and most DEFINITELY not good.

Actually Rihanna's streaming numbers are disregarded by the same people I see praising the numbers up and down in this thread.
And I wouldn't get cocky, 30Ks second week during Q4 is not impressive, don't be so sure about dragging Anti's numbers, not just yet.
