Luckily Champion and like two other songs was enough for me to come up with a strong defense but yeah that era is what happens when you get caught up in hype and really think you can fool your fans into making something that has never worked (for a reason) in crossover rap do well because you think YOU are the one that is the exception.

It reminded me that Kanye can get away with his cockiness because he's a great artist. He's not a great lyricist but a great artist. On the contrary, Nicki is the opposite and this is what started to prove it...even though there were lazy moments in some of the songs. The PinkPrint confirmed that she hadn't developed as an artists.

I sure hope she gets it right at some point.
