Like it was cool and all, but I would have preferred to see her doing it alone with her dance breakdown (modified to be punchier) and wearing something more flexible.
I just didn't get the same feel from the physical and visual aspect of the performance (though the camerawork was admittedly all over the place). But the vocals and mix were on fire!

This performance was everything it needed to be. We didn't need a FWT 2.0 performance on a ****ing country music award show.
That performance didn't need an elaborate choreo. And i'm not saying this because she was in front of all of that redneck trash, but sometimes it's just better to see her standing and serving vocals and vivacity without necessarily moving all around the stage

i love the theatrics & stage production that Beyonce is finally really doing but sometimes i like to see Bey just rock it out with her & the band and letting her natural charisma shine through. she didnt need the Dixie Chicks but they didn't really bother me tbh.
